Procedure for obtaining the Spruce Creek Airport GPS
Approach Plate LOA (letter of authorization) from the FAA.

Download the application form from this website or stop at the Spruce Creek POA office on 212-1 Cessna Blvd and ask the front office staff for the application form.

Fill out the form with the following information:
*Your local Spruce Creek Fly-In address (as a resident owner or renter)
*Your resident address as it appears on your FAA Pilots (If you are the pilot of an owner or renter you need to provide the Spruce Creek Fly-In address of that person)
*Your pilot certificate number
*FAA medical class and date of issue
*Cell phone number and email address
*Aircraft Registration number

Return the form to the attention of the Airport Manager or the office staff. We will review it and enter it into a database which will be sent to the FAA Office in DC at various date intervals for review and coordination with an FAA Inspector who will come to the Spruce Creek POA Office to handle the necessary paperwork and hand out the approach plates.

At that meeting you will be required to sign several documents which will be copied and given back to you to keep in the aircraft you have designated. You will be notified of the date and time of the Inspector’s visit approximately one week prior by a notice to the email you have given as well a notice on the electronic sign at the North (main) Entry. A notice will also be posted on the Spruce Creek Community Channel if time permits.
